Attempted to use my $5 off $50 1-year anniversary "Thank You" coupon at the store in Derby today. Couldn't get it to scan off the cell phone screen shot I made earlier so the manager was called in. I explained that since the store's WiFi is out (as it often is), I can't pull up the full email but I had a screen shot of most of it including the bar code I mad before leaving my home. The Manager said she had to have a printed copy or no discount. Really? How about all of us with no printers? (mine's being serviced) She offered to print it for me if I would forward the email to her. I had just told her since the Store's WiFi is down again, and I have no cell service in the store, I can't email it. She said she had to have a printed copy or no $5 discount. I told her I was there today primarily to use my "$5 Thank You" discount so unless she would honor it, I would want to cancel the transaction. She said fine and I left the store with nothing but a headache. Happy 1-year Anniversary! and BTW, would you like to renew your BJs membership today? NOT!
Horrible. I would say make the trip to the Stratford one. Bad management, never has anyone at self checkout, usually only 2-3 cashiers when the place is crazy busy, worst BJ's Wholesale Club I've ever been to. Also the slowest one I've been to by far. I own my own business and I used to come to this one because it was closest to my house but it was horrible. Please save your time and go to another one.
Customer service is great. Clean, well organized and decent selection. Deli is not the greatest and you often get long lines for sub-par service - but only at the deli.
Easily navigated store with good products to choose from. Meat is high quality and butchers will cut to order. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Propane filled onsite, WHEN the right employees are available.
